Dennis Ferguson helps people solve problems. Dennis is a graduate of the S. J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah where he was a Comment Editor for the Utah Law Review. His undergraduate degree is from Utah State University where he was a member of the Aggie football team and received recognition from the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame for his level of play, academic standards, and leadership.
Following law school, Dennis served in the United States Marine Corps as a judge advocate, and continued his military service in the Utah Army National Guard while practicing law in private law firms in Salt Lake City, completing his service as a Lieutenant Colonel. Dennis has completed certification as a mediator through the Pepperdine School of Law, Strauss Institute.
Dennis’s legal practice has included the areas of products liability defense, medical negligence defense, ski resort defense, governmental entity defense, plaintiff’s personal injury, family law matters, and general litigation. As a judge advocate, Dennis served as a prosecutor and a criminal defense attorney. This variety of practice areas allows him to see the world from many different perspectives, and to appreciate that legal matters are people matters. Dennis brings understanding, creativity and expertise to each situation.
