FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do Digital World Councils have legal government authority?

No. Councils are governance and advisory bodies within Digital World. They do not replace public governments, regulatory agencies, or legal authorities.

Who can join a council?

Any member with a Digital Identity can join an existing council using the "Join Council" option on this page.

How are council members selected or verified?

Members currently join directly through their Digital Identity. Formal processes for selection, verification, or appointment are still being developed.

What happens to council recommendations?

Recommendations feed into Digital World's broader governance process. They don't take effect automatically, and depend on how that process is applied.

What if a council has no members yet?

Some councils are still being established. Membership will be listed on this page once members have joined or been appointed.

OPEN GOVERNANCE
